This Privacy Policy explains how Pinnacle Process Group LLC ("PPG," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information in connection with our websites, the Insights blog, Free Tools, Support Suite, Decision Guides, diagnostics, Action Plans, Basecamp, The Climb, GlidePath™, PPG Projects, full engagements, Lean Six Sigma programs and collaboration, and other services we provide (collectively, the "Services").
This Policy is a notice of our information practices. Where applicable law requires consent, we will request it separately. A dedicated project, sponsored program, or other substantial relationship may also be governed by an engagement, operating, participation, or similar agreement (an "Engagement Agreement"). That agreement may establish additional or different privacy and confidentiality terms for the covered engagement and will control to the extent it expressly conflicts with this Policy.
Our Services are primarily dependent on information that you intentionally provide. Depending on how you interact with PPG, this may include:
Please use appropriate judgment when submitting information. Do not provide Social Security numbers, passwords, full payment-card numbers, protected health information, or unrelated sensitive personal information unless PPG specifically requests it through an approved process.
PPG's Free Tools generally do not require an account. Information you enter is used to provide the result you request. Free Tool information is not intentionally added to a persistent PPG business profile unless you choose to save, submit, or share it through a feature that clearly provides for persistence. Limited technical records may still be created by our systems and service providers for security, reliability, and troubleshooting.
The Support Suite is designed to maintain business context and history over time. It may therefore store account information, business context, goals, check-ins, decisions, guide activity and results, uploaded materials, and other records you intentionally provide. This persistence allows different workspaces and guides to use available context and helps you revisit prior work.
For PPG Projects, diagnostics, Action Plans, Kaizen events, full engagements, Lean Six Sigma collaboration, and similar work, we may collect operational documents, interview notes, process information, financial or performance information, project communications, observations, deliverables, and other information reasonably necessary to perform the engagement. An applicable Engagement Agreement may further define what is collected, how it is used, confidentiality expectations, retention, and authorized disclosures.
PPG does not currently use behavioral advertising trackers or build profiles based on your activity across unrelated websites. Our hosting, security, authentication, and other infrastructure may nevertheless process limited technical information necessary to operate and protect the Services, such as IP address, browser or device information, access time, requested page, error information, and session or authentication records.
We may use information to:
AI may be used throughout the PPG ecosystem. This may include Free Tools, the Support Suite, Decision Guides, diagnostics, Action Plans, The Climb, GlidePath, PPG Projects, research, document preparation, communications, and administrative work.
AI may assist with organizing information, identifying patterns, conducting preliminary analysis, drafting content, or generating possible recommendations. PPG does not authorize AI to make a final material business, eligibility, employment, financial, legal, or program decision on behalf of PPG or a user.
Information submitted to an AI-enabled feature may be processed by one or more AI service providers for the purpose of producing or supporting the requested service. PPG may change providers as its systems evolve. Those providers process information under their applicable contractual commitments, privacy terms, and security practices.
PPG does not use identifiable customer or participant content to train public models, third-party general-purpose models, or PPG models without express permission. PPG may use feedback and aggregated or de-identified information to evaluate and improve its products, processes, prompts, and services.
AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or based partly on public information or industry assumptions. Human involvement and review vary by tool and engagement. Users remain responsible for evaluating information and making their own decisions. Questions about AI use may be directed to PPG. We may provide additional information about the relevant categories of information, purpose, human involvement, limitations, and safeguards, while protecting confidential system instructions, security controls, code, and trade secrets.
PPG may collect information from individuals participating in GlidePath, The Climb, Basecamp, Lean Six Sigma programs, workshops, cohorts, and similar Services. This may include registration details, contact information, business information, goals, assessments, attendance, participation, progress, submitted work, communications, feedback, and program outcomes.
When participation is funded, referred, or supported by an employer, sponsor, partner, or participating organization, PPG may provide that organization with limited program-related reporting. Unless you are clearly informed otherwise before information is collected, this reporting will be limited to enrollment and attendance, completion status, general participation milestones, and aggregated or de-identified program results.
PPG will not ordinarily provide a sponsor or partner with your confidential business information, assessment responses, private communications, detailed recommendations, uploaded materials, or Support Suite activity. Identifiable progress information or additional information may be shared when:
Before collecting information under a sponsored arrangement involving additional reporting, PPG will endeavor to explain what will be shared, with whom, and for what purpose. A sponsor's payment does not, by itself, give the sponsor ownership of participant information or unrestricted access to it.
PPG does not sell personal information. We may disclose information as reasonably necessary to:
Service providers receive information needed to perform their functions and are subject to their own terms, privacy practices, and applicable contractual and legal obligations.
Purchases and subscriptions may be processed by Stripe. Stripe may collect payment-card details, billing information, transaction information, device information, and fraud-prevention signals under its own privacy policy. PPG generally receives transaction status, customer and billing details, subscription information, and limited payment-method information, such as card brand and last four digits, rather than a complete payment-card number.
Where the checkout process requires you to review and affirmatively accept PPG's Terms of Service and acknowledge this Privacy Policy, the acceptance record may be retained with the transaction or account record.
PPG does not currently use behavioral advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies. We may use cookies, browser storage, or similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, security, preferences, form or tool operation, and maintaining a session. Disabling these technologies may prevent account features or interactive tools from functioning correctly.
Our infrastructure and service providers may maintain limited access, error, security, and transaction logs. These records are used to operate, troubleshoot, and protect the Services, not to create behavioral profiles across unrelated websites.
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to provide the Services, and to satisfy legitimate security, legal, accounting, dispute-resolution, and recordkeeping needs.
Support Suite account content is retained while access is active. After a subscription or account expires or is canceled, that content will ordinarily remain recoverable for 60 days so the user may decide whether to return. After that period, it will be deleted or de-identified unless a longer period is required by law, an applicable Engagement Agreement, an unresolved dispute, a security need, or another legitimate business obligation. Canceling a subscription does not itself request immediate deletion.
You may request deletion before the 60-day period ends, subject to applicable exceptions. Information removed from active systems may remain temporarily in protected backups until those backups cycle out. PPG may retain transaction records, invoices, contracts, consent records, tax and accounting records, and information needed to establish or defend legal claims for longer periods. Aggregated or de-identified information may be retained when it can no longer reasonably be associated with you or your business.
PPG treats nonpublic business information submitted through the Services as confidential and does not use it for unrelated marketing or disclose it to other customers or participants. Access is limited to PPG personnel, authorized collaborators, and service providers with a reasonable need to support the applicable Service. Additional confidentiality obligations may be established in an Engagement Agreement.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or destruction. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, and PPG cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for protecting your login credentials, email account, devices, and any links or access methods provided to you. Please notify PPG promptly if you believe your account or information has been accessed without authorization.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message or contacting us. You may still receive transactional, security, account, purchase, or program communications.
Depending on your relationship with PPG and applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of personal information we maintain about you. You may also have the right to opt out of certain sales, targeted advertising, or qualifying profiling. PPG does not currently sell personal information or use personal information for behavioral advertising across unrelated websites.
Submit a request to admin@pinnacleprocessgroup.com. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and authority. We will respond as required by applicable law. A request may be limited or denied where an exception applies, including when information must be retained for security, legal compliance, recordkeeping, an active engagement, or the establishment or defense of legal claims. If applicable law provides a right to appeal our response, you may do so by replying to our decision and identifying the request as an appeal.
The Services may integrate with or link to third-party websites and platforms, including payment, AI, communications, scheduling, videoconferencing, and collaboration services. Information you provide directly to a third party is governed by that party's privacy policy and terms. PPG is not responsible for the privacy practices of services it does not control.
The Services are not directed to children under 18, and PPG does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information to PPG, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
PPG is based in the United States. If you access the Services from another country, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States or other locations where PPG's service providers operate. Applicable privacy protections may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
We may update this Privacy Policy as our Services and information practices evolve. We will revise the "Last Updated" date and provide additional notice when required by law. Materially different uses of information will be handled in accordance with applicable law, including obtaining consent where required.
